Natchez Brewing Company is a brewery and taproom in historic downtown Natchez, a city known as the oldest established settlement on the Mississippi River and a hub of the steamboat era. The brewery takes pride in producing the first distributed beer to carry the Natchez name. Owner and founder Lisa Miller runs the business, while her husband, Patrick Miller, creates the recipes. A Natchez native, he grew up in the Miss-Lou area on both sides of the river. Patrick served in the Marines and later worked in law enforcement and for the Park Service, and his interest in brewing began in Asheville, North Carolina. The couple moved back to Natchez to be near family. Their beer draws on local flavor and Southern tradition, and the taproom has a kitchen with online ordering.
